It has been almost a month since Stitching kitchen reopened, the change in procedures seems to have worked well, I am getting quicker at cleaning before and after sessions!
The cake is still well received so I haven’t lost my baking mojo over lockdown!
The workshops have worked well, I am now preparing materials and tools into boxes for each person prior to the workshop and placing supplies and equipment in quarantine for 3 days after each session.
So far we have been busy with Weaving, Needlefelting and Indian Block Printing and the results have been amazing.
One person said it was “the most fun she has had since lock down!” If you would like to come along please be assured that I am taking every care to keep our C19 risks to a minimum and am keeping contact details for everyone for a three week period for Track and Trace.
More workshop dates are added regularly and you can book or express interest via the Book Workshops page.
If you would feel more comfortable with a one to one session or personalised workshop I have organised my diary and have availability during the school daytime, alternate weekends and Wednesday and Thursdays evenings - I charge £25 per hour for bespoke sessions.
Here are the results from the most recent one where I was helping someone get used to free motion using her new sewing machine - I can't wait to see the quilts she creates!
