Reserve the Studio Space
If you have been to a workshop you will know just how much wonderful crafting space is available at Stitching Kitchen, and being in the studio can be inspiring in itself.
Many of you have asked if you can use the space to spread out as space is limited at home, or simply to use the studio for some uninterrupted sewing / crafting time. As long as there isn't a workshop being held the space in the studios is available to hire. It will cost you £10 per hour. We can accommodate up to 3 people at one time so you won't have the full space all to yourself! The Studio is open Monday, Friday and Saturday 10am to 2pm and if we are not teaching or hosting a workshop you can hire the space.
You can request to book the upstairs studio using the button below. Use of the space includes access to tea and coffee making facilities.
The sewing studio is well lit has space to spread out there is the enormous cutting table ideal for cutting pattern pieces or assembling your quilt sandwich.
I have several machines which you can hire if needed, just drop me a message to arrange.
There are irons and boards to press those seams and if you are dressmaking a corner to try on and a full length mirror. There are quilting rulers and rotary cutters you can borrow too.
If you need any haberdashery don't worry we stock lots threads and notions which will keep your sewing project on track.
