Stitching Kitchen terms and conditions.
The website provides the following services: Booking Craft and Sewing Workshops, Purchasing Craft Kits, Haberdashery, Sewing Machines etc. (Services). You agree that by accessing the Site and/or Services, you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by all of these Terms and Conditions.
These general conditions of sale apply to all transactions concluded through the websites of Stitching Kitchen. Is considered as "client" any natural or legal person making with the company Stitching Kitchen an order validated via our secure payment platform, or by card or cash in person.
By completing your purchase, completing the on-line or in person sign up form you give Stitching Kitchen consent to send you emails with news and details of future events, updates and other sewing and textile subjects we hope will be interesting to you.
You can unsubscribe at any time via the link on the emails; you also have the full rights of EU citizens under the General Data Protection Regulations including the right to know what personal data we hold on you and to ask that this data be permanently deleted.
Workshop Bookings
All workshops must be paid for in full prior to the workshop.
Please check the dates carefully prior to booking. Once an order is placed it cannot be refunded.
If for any reason you are unable to attend please contact us and we will try to find someone to take your place. We are not contractually bound to find a replacement but we can try to find someone as a good will gesture. If this is not possible feel free to send a substitute. If we find someone to take your place we can transfer you onto a later date or another class of your choice. If you book a workshop for several days duration please make sure you can attend all days.
Should it be necessary to postpone a workshop due to low booking numbers or if the Tutor is unwell your place will automatically be transferred to the next date for that workshop. If that date is not suitable for you it is possible to transfer to an alternative workshop.
Payment can be made on the website using a credit or debit card or PayPal. We do not store or have access to your bank details. This is securely processed by Stripe or PayPal.
Product Purchases
Payment is due immediately on the date of the order, including for pre-order products. You can pay by credit card. Secure online payment by credit card is made through the company Stripe or Paypal. Any guarantee as to the security of this system is entirely the responsibility of the company Stripe and cannot be attributed to us.
Delivery is made to the address you specified when placing your order (therefore, pay particular attention to the spelling of the address you enter and especially the postal code). The risks will be your responsibility from the date on which the ordered products have left our premises. However, in the event of a lost package, we will do everything necessary so that you still receive your product. Alternatively you can collect your items in person from the studio.
If you do not agree with all of these Terms and Conditions, then you are prohibited from using the Site and Services and you must discontinue use immediately. We recommend that you print a copy of these Terms and Conditions for future reference.
The content of the website is owned by Stitching Kitchen and also is written in good faith but we cannot offer any guarantees. Any linked websites or applications operated by third parties are outside of our control so we cannot be held responsible for their availability or content.
