Azure Dress, Skirt + Top - PDF Pattern

Description

With five distinct views, Azure is a mini wardrobe all in one tidy package! With a dress and skirt in two lengths and a separate sleeveless top, you'll love mixing and matching pieces. The Azure bodice is semi-fitted with a jewel neckline and button closure in the back; it can be lined or finished with an "all-in-one" facing. The skirt is striking with alternating diagonal gathered panels. View A is a midi-length dress with two tiers. View B is a maxi-length dress with three tiers. View C is a cropped sleeveless top. View D is a midi-length skirt with an elasticated back. View E is a maxi-length skirt with an elasticated back.

Suggested fabric type

For more structure, choose light to midweight wovens such as linen, cotton poplin, voile, batiste, chambray, double gauze, batiste and shirtings.
For a drapier dress, choose light to midweight drapey fabrics like rayon challis, viscose, Tencel twill, and silk crepe de chine.

Supplies required

• Lightweight fusible interfacing

  • 1/2 yd (0.5 m) interfacing for sizes 0-20

  • 3/4 yd (0.7 m) interfacing for sizes 14-32

  • Note: Interfacing is not required if fully lining the bodice.

• Small button, 1/2" (12 mm)

• Thread in a matching colour
