Style Falcon sewing patterns are thoughtfully designed for women of menopause age and beyond, enabling them to create a handmade wardrobe that fits their bodies and their lives, without the hassle of adapting patterns designed for much younger bodies.

Unlike most sewing patterns, Style Falcon patterns are drafted for a mature figure - not a youthful hourglass figure. That means:

• Little bust-to-waist definition

• Lower bust points, for a “C” to “D” cup

• More room at the tummy, hip and sleeve bicep

• Center-back seams, with rounded back and forward shoulder shaping

• For people about 5’4” (about 163 cm)

About the Style Falcon Secret Jeans Trousers

Are they trousers? Are they jeans? The Secret Jeans Trousers are both!

Dress these pants up or down. You choose the fabric, topstitching and pocket embellishments to create your unique look.

Designed to sit at the natural waist. A straight leg is hemmed for a low heel or flats. Curved front pockets don’t gape at the sides. There’s extra room at the belly for fit and comfort. Back elastic makes fitting and sewing a breeze, and wearing a delight.

View A is a dress trouser style, with minimal topstitching and no back pockets for a sleek look.

View B is a mock jean style, all all the topstitching and back patch pockets of a real pair of jeans.

Fabric Choices

The Secret Jeans Trousers work with many non-stretch bottomweight fabrics. To make a dress trouser style, try linens, suitings in wool or blends, challis and other bottomweight woven fabrics. For a mock jean style, try denim and twill.

Pattern and Instructions Formats

The Secret Jeans Trousers pattern comes in two layered .pdf formats - A0 and Letter. The A0 file is on two sheets of paper; both are needed for View A or View B. The sewer will need a small piece of tape to assemble one pattern piece that spans both A0 pages. The Letter format is on 27 pages.

Instructions are offered in standard print and large-print formats for accessibility. All measurements and instructions are provided in Imperial and metric units.
