\nThe coloured transfer paper is not only useful for transferring patterns in embroidery, dressmaking and tailoring, it is also suitable for transferring marking to materials such as leather, wood, plaster of Paris, porcelain or paper-board. This makes it ideal for many craft hobbies. So that the transfer of the selected pattern is clearly visible on every surface. When the dressmaking, embroidery or quilting project is completed, the marking lines can easily be washed out of the fabric. Ideal for embroidery pattern transfers (see link below). Use together with the Whitecroft (serrated) tracing wheel or with a pen or pencil.

\nHow to use Whitecroft Tracing Carbon Paper
\n
\nFind a hard, flat surface – then take your fabric, a ballpoint pen, your stencil, and a sheet of carbon paper. Lay the fabric down, and make sure it’s flat.
\nCarbon paper has two different sides – one side feels more like paper; and the other has a waxy or chalky coating (on coloured carbon paper, the colourful side is the waxy side). Place the carbon paper on your fabric, waxy side down.
\nTake your design/stencil, and place it over the carbon paper – make sure the design fits within the size of the carbon paper.
\nWith your pen, firmly draw over your stencil. Be careful not to move the fabric or paper while you’re tracing – or the design will be jumbled and imprint in different places!
\nCheck that you’ve traced over each piece of the stencil – then lift off the paper. The transfer is done!
